What is the difference between a Thule 750 and 754 foot pack

Thule 754 750 Thule 754 750

The Thule 754 foot is the latest version of the Thule Rapid System for cars without roof rails or roof fixing points. The main difference between the original 750 and the current 754 model is that the tightening & locking mechanisms are now integrated into the feet of the 754 and no longer on the end of the bar. The new 754 is supplied with an integrated torque tool which shows when the foot is correctly secured. This tool is housed inside the foot and can be locked away for added security & convenience.

In most cases the 750 foot pack is compatible with current fitting kits, to confirm compatibility with your vehicle please use our Thule Fit Guide. (Scroll to the bottom of the page when you have selected your vehicle, if at the bottom of the page there are two asterix signs next to the fitting kit than this means it's not compatible with the Thule 750 foot pack and a Thule 754 is required to ensure correct fitment.) Alternatively give us a call on 01732 884408 or email us on [email protected].

In most instances both packs can be used for mounting on to your rack system. When fitting used roof racks to a new vehicle it is not always possible to use the same lengths of bars, the bar lengths are depended on several factors (type of foot pack, vehicle width, fitting kit, etc...), to make sure you have the correct lengths please use our Thule Fit Guide to find out which lengths are required.
