Safety

• The AcuTight knob "clicks" when optimal hold is reached controlling the torque going into the bike frame and ensuring the bike is secured to the rack
• Large frame contact area for improved protection for sensitive frames
• Stronger claws to further improve safety
• AcuTight knob is lockable with One Key system (lock included)
   

Ease of use

• With the AcuTight knob the consumer get a clear signoff of correct mounting force
• Ergonomic soft grip on the knob
• The arm's detachability function is made more intuitive via the handles
   

Implementation

• The new bike arms with the Thule AcuTight knob will be implemented on the Thule EasyFold 931, Thule EuroClassic 928 G6 and Thule EucoClassic 929 G6 bike carriers as standard in 2014
• The new bike arm with the standard Thule lockable knob (no Acutight Knob) will be implemented on the Thule Euroway G2 carrier range in 2014
• The new Thule AcuTight Knob can be ordered separately as an accessory for consumers already owning a Thule bike carrier
