The best selling Thule 598 ProRide is extremely elegant and the most easy to use Thule upright bike carrier yet. Its large soft claw frame pads securely hold the bike frame. A single torque sensor knob enables the clamp to be tightened conveniently at the wheel tray level by turning the torque sensor knob until it clicks. The 598 ProRide is suitable for all bikes up to 20 Kgs. For carbon frames, there is a carbon frame adapter available as an accessory.

Useful tip from roofracks.co.uk:  "The Thule 598 ProRide is a true top quality product and is also perfect for carrying a bike on a taller vehicle such as a SUV etc. The reason for this is that all of the fixing is done low at roof bar height. Simply raise the frame arm, lift the bike onto the wheel tray and let the wheels roll down the curved tray into position. Once the padded frame clamp is in position there is no need to continue holding the bike, leaving your hands free to finish the job."
