Thule Pack 'n Pedal follows a long Thule tradition of designing pioneering solutions for an active lifestyle. The brands new smart bag and rack system for bikes is the ideal choice for both bike vacations and commuting. Thule Pack 'n Pedal sees its world premiere during the Eurobike 2012 fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany, August 29-September 1.

"Biking has always been a strong passion for the Thule brand, and we are proud to present our entry into a new product category around the bike", says Magnus Welander, Thule Group CEO. "We have put together a smart system of products with innovative racks and cool bags for different needs, which work just as well on the bike as when they are carried around. As always with Thule, we have focused on ease of use, safety and quality. And of course, the well-recognized and stylish Thule design".

For the comprehensive Pack 'n Pedal range, Thule has developed a revolutionary handlebar attachment with various accessories (bag, wallet, iPad/map holder) and a family of top-of-the line pannier bags. Thule has also acquired the rights for the much praised Freeload bike racks. The New Zealand-designed racks offer a superior solution that can be used both in the front and the back, and fit with virtually every type of bike in the market.

"When we started Freeload to develop a system for load carrying on bikes, we were inspired by the Thule load carrying systems and products for cars. We set out to design a modular platform that could be used by riders universally in much the same way", says Freeload founder and director Pat Maguire. "To see Thule introduce our rack to the rest of the world as part of their new and innovative Pack 'n Pedal product range is very exciting for us".
