The Thule Arcos is supplied with a separate base platform which easily attaches to the vehicle's tow ball. The base platform and cargo box can be mounted either as a single unit, preferably by two persons to balance, or alternatively, as a one person operation. The base platform can be pre-fitted to the tow ball and the Arcos then simply attached to the base platform.
The Thule Arcos gives you lots of additional loading space with easy access – at the rear of your car. Keep the roof free to minimize wind resistance or to carry other loads. Or just spare your back from having to lift gear onto the car roof.
