This is due to the one-handed "PowerClick" clamps equipped with torque sensors.  The tension knobs click when tension is optimised. Every Force XT model has a "DualSide" opening feature for convenient access from both sides, as well as central locking on either side. The Force XT also includes a redesigned lock knob, which relieves strain on the key and protects it from accidental breaking.
