We are glad to announce (16/08/2013) that the Thule Pack n Pedal is now available for ordering on our website roofrack.co.uk. After an interesting presentation and testing from Thule's representative we where quickly convinced how great this new product is.

Our first impression was the strength of the rack and the quick release system of the panniers. The Pack 'n Pedal range is easy to assemble without the need of extra tools. It's truly an amazing new product line. With Thule's acquisition of the New Zealand company Freeload, the entrepreneurs of the Freeload rack system which was launched in 2010 are heading for global reach.

With the new ownership of the well-known brand "Thule Group" will soon see more innovations from the world-class Swedish active lifestyle company.

Our first impression was the strength of the racks, mounting a front and rear rack system gives you the advantage of adding up to 4 panniers. Easily removed with the fast release system connected with a rare earth magnet keeping the bag against the rack. Placing the panniers can be adjusted forwards or backwards depending on the users length of legs.

With the quick release mechanism alongside the option to convert it into a sling bag makes the Pack n Pedal Pannier one of the quickest on the market, no need for clips or cumbersome straps.

When dismounting the panniers you can flip the mounts inside the bag changing it into a smooth back plate which can be used as a sling bag with the included messenger style strap.

The bags include side pockets made out of translucent material enabling light to shine through, a great alternative from mounting extra light brackets onto your bike.

The side panniers 100008 and 100009 are designed to perfectly fit Thule Tour Rack but can also be mounted to almost any rack system.

There is more to the Pack n Pedal range than panniers, when cycling around it is always useful to have tools and a spare inner tube which can be stored inside a seat bag easily mounted underneath your seat resolving all your storage problems. Featuring a smart tool wrap to keep your tools organized and easy to get when you need them.

With the added handlebar mount you can add a wallet holder, iPad/Map sleeve and a large front bag. The iPad/Map sleeve is especially useful when using your digital or paper device for navigating down the country lanes.
