The
Thule Spirit is one of the latest offerings in the Thule range of
roof boxes. In our opinion the Spirit has surpassed Thule's already
high standards for style and build quality. It is so good that it
really looks part of the vehicle rather
than an addition. The Spirit is available in two sizes and comes
in a choice of four colours including anthracite, silver metallic,
deep black glossy and pepita glossy.
Not only is the Thule Spirit totally innovotive in design, it is also the easiest to fit since it incorporates Power Grip brackets that grip to roof bars in seconds. The system has no loose parts and is pre-fitted into the box. The grip claws are tightened around the roof bar, with a simple turn of a knob using just one hand. The Power-Grip also self centers itself on top of the roof bar for maximum stability.
 Like several other Thule roof box models the Spirit has inset roof bar positions in order to reduce the overal height and increase the aerodynamic efficiency.
 Another
aid to aerodynamics is the introduction of Thule's "Diffuser
Technology". longitudinal air channels and spoilers on
the underside of the box minimize wind resistance, noise and vibrations.
