The strong and lightweight aluminium Thule 591 ProRide really is the most convenient way to carry bikes on a car's roof. It is simplicity itself to use since the special padded jaws, that grips the bike's down tube, automatically adjusts to the depth of the frame. To make things even easier all fixing controls are placed in the ideal position at the bottom of the carrier. This means you don't have to stretch upwards. Likewise the quick release wheel straps are fastened and undone instantly. The ProRide will fit bikes with down tube diameters of between 22 & 80mm and up to 100mm deep. The 591 ProRide fits both square and aero bars. Two separate locking points protect the bike and carrier against theft.
